Naturally, then, the Registrar Office is distinct from other functions: there is, for example, a Scholarship Aid Office which deals with tuition fees, student grants, scholarships, and loans, and reports to the Registrar while the Learning Support and University Advancements are led by the Manager, Financial Aid and Advancement, who also reports to the University’s Registrar. The Registrar’s Office is also a separate entity, containing other staff who report to the Registrar for other areas of work under his overall supervision. And, of course, central to all the University’s activities are the academic departments, which are crucial to the research effort of the University, to its teaching, and to the direct support of all its students.
