At Sustaible Bioenerfy and Biorefinery Lab, we seek to provide sustainable solution to country’s need for energy demand to enhance economic growth and development. We are working with plants, fungi, and bacteria in combination with innovative processes to produce next-generation bio-energy sources and sustainable industrial processes. In addition, we are exploring the use of microorganisms for biomass utilization for the production of bio-chemicals and renewable energy sources.
· Exploration of efficient manufacturing methods for bio-based products by exploiting microbial biotechnology to meet this aim (Biorefinery). · Enhancement of anaerobic digestion of different raw materials (e. g. enzymatic hydrolysis, chemical pretreatment and sonication of industrial and agricultural residues). · Studying process technology of anaerobic digestion for enhancement and understanding of biogas production. · Research within the area of production of renewable energy and bio-based chemicals. · Studying of analytical and computing tools to provide automated tools for process supervision that enables smarter, safer and more cost and time efficient assays of biogas and bioethanol processes for energy production.
