The Central library offers one of the best collections in the region, a collection that offers over 1, 95,000 books and 35,000 bound volumes of research journals. The major task of university library is to meet needs of faculty members, students and researchers adequately in the terms of quality and quantity of collection. DRSM Library is currently subscribing 276 International Journals for 2004-05 as hard copy along with more than 11, 600 full text, 20,000 abstracts, online / electronic journals secured by Higher Education Commission, Islamabad through Programme for Enhancement of Research Information (PERI) being available in University.

Library Timings

DRSM Library offers flexible library timings to its patrons i.e. from 8.00 A.M. to 3.00 PM / afternoon / evening (*university management notify library closing timings according to the needs of students). These may be extended up to 9 P.M. as and when needed especially during the examination days.
