Two fully equipped labs are available for the students in the institute. One lab contains 60 PCs with original INTEL P4 processors having speed 2.8 -3.6 GH, with memory capacity of 512 MB and 80 GB PATA/SATA drives. The second lab is currently equipped with 20 PCs. Laboratories in the Institute are connected through Fast Ethernet switches so that communication within Local Area Network is enhanced. A reliable internet connection is also available in both labs. The PCs are installed with required software and necessary programming tools including MS Visual Studio 6.0, JDK 1.4 to provide complete working environment to students. Laboratory of Electronics
Established in 1984 as the Institute's first interdepartmental
laboratory, the Research Laboratory of Electronics has
grown from its roots in the Radiation Laboratory's pioneering
study of electronics into QAU's largest multidisciplinary
research center.
