| ELIGIBILITY
|

The applicants must possess at least a second class
Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized
University subject to the condition that they meet
the requirements of major subjects passed for the
Bachelor’s degree as given in Appendix-A of
the Prospectus. Admission will be made on merit, which
will be determined on the basis of Intermediate and
Degree level academic record according to the formula
given in the prospectus subject to regional quota.
Those already holding Master degree shall not be eligible
for admission. Candidates who are more than 26 years
old shall not be eligible for admission unless relaxation
is granted by the Vice-Chancellor for special reasons
on the recommendations of the Chairman of the respective
Department. No relaxation in age limit will
be granted for MBA/MPA. Priority of subjects
once opted shall not be changed under any circumstances. |
| SEATS
AVAILABLE ON SELF FINANCE BASIS |
|
Ten additional seats on self financed basis to be
filled strictly on merit would be offered in each
discipline except in Pakistan Studies, Psychology
and Faculty of Biological Sciences where fifteen,
twenty & three seats in each discipline respectively
would be on Self-Financed basis. |
| RESERVED
SEATS |
| One
seat in each department of the University is reserved
for admission of the children of Army Personnel and
would be offered ONLY on the nomination of GHQ and
one seat is also reserved for Minorities subject to
production of certificate from the Institution last
attended that the candidate belongs to the Minority
Community. |
| APTITUDE
TEST FOR COMPUTER SCIENCE, ELECTRONICS, PHYSICS, MBA/
MPA, INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS PSYCHOLOGY & CHEMISTRY |
For admission to Computer
Science, Electronics, Physics, MBA/MPA, International
Relations, Psychology & Chemistry. applicants
will be required to take an aptitude test and
pass it with at-least 40% marks. Only those who
pass the aptitude test will be considered for
admission which will be determined purely on merit
basis without giving any credit to the test score.

| EQUIVALENCE
CERTIFICATES AND CONVERSION OF GRADES INTO MARKS |
|
Candidates having foreign certificates/degrees
should provide equivalence certificates and conversion
of the grades into marks from HEC, Islamabad, for
Bachelor level degrees and from Inter Board Committee
for Matric and Intermediate level. Certificates/Degrees
with GPA of local Universities/Institutions also
require conversion of grades into marks from the
concerned Universities/Institutions in Pakistan.

Admission Forms alongwith relevant documents (in
triplicate) should reach the Admission Section of
the University by 07-01-2008 during the office hours. No call up letters will be sent separately. Data of all applicants will be available on University website on/after 12-01-2008 . Please contact Admission Section, QAU to rectify the error/mistake in data, if any. |

ACCOMMODATION |

A limited number of seats in the University Hostels
are available which will be provided on first come
first serve basis. |
