The Computer Centre always made its best endeavourers to promote computer literacy and to enhance technical and professional skills of those who wish to become computer professionals. Since 1973, the Centre has been offering Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Sciences, Professional Certificate Course in Computer Applications. Further the Centre is providing practical support/guidance to M.Sc., M.Phil and Ph.D. students of various departments in developing different software applications/projects related to their studies. In addition to “training” of Computer Professionals, the Computer Centre provides computer support/services to various departments. The Centre has computerized a variety of procedures/workflow to carry out of various tasks of the University. The Centre is also responsible to provide advisory and maintenance services to different departments of the University. It also assisted the Government and Semi-Government organizations in their computerization plans.
