Environmental Science is a cross-disciplinary field that integrates physical and biological sciences to the study of the
environment, and the solution of environmental problems and provides an integrated, quantitative, and interdisciplinary
approach to study environmental systems. This programgives the skills to ask questions about and perhaps obtain answers to
some of the environmental problems the planet is facing today by examining scientific principles and the application of those
principles to environmental issues.
Environmental Sciences program course is offered to students from biological and physical sciences, engineering,
environmental management, and other relevant disciplines. Main emphasis is to conduct internationally recognized basic and
applied research and provide education of international standard to build a highly skilled human resource that will contribute
towards national and international decision-making andmanagement of environmental and health risks.
